The Batesville Greenway is a multi-use trail that was constructed for running, walking, cycling, and all other forms of non-motorized transportation. Currently, the eight-foot wide trails begin at the Fitzhugh Municipal swimming pool and leads you South behind the Batesville Community Center and past Row Lake. After crossing Myers, the trail leads further South to Riverside Park. Upon reaching Riverside Park, you can connect to the River Walk or head East and continue along the Greenway past the Municipal Golf Course and end at Batesville High School (section of trail between Douglas and the School is currently under construction). Future development of the Greenway will take users from the High School to either Eagle Mountain Magnet or onto the Soccer and Terry Sims Diamond Sports Complexes.
